Samson

Hi, my name is Samson! I am a neutered male Spaniel/Retriever Mix that was born in October 2019. I'm a really sweet boy, but have some pretty strong opinions of some things... I'm not a fan of kids or rowdy dogs, but get along fine with calmer dogs and knowledgeable adults. I definitely prefer a less chaotic household. I do fine with dog-savvy cats and I'm great with livestock! I grew up around goats, sheep, chickens, and cattle. Thunderstorms and fireworks do cause me some anxiety... And I'm not a fan of being left alone for long periods of time. I have a bad habit of eating inappropriate things when stressed(wires, rat poison, glass...) and have had a couple of emergency vet visits when I was young. I've done a lot of training though! I do know my name and I am very familiar with basic commands like sit, down, come, stay, and place! I LOVE hiking, camping, and being active with my people.

I found my forever home with an AMAZING woman who is retired, but still very active! She did not have any kids or other family to share her home, so together we make the perfect pair!
