Tess was a female German Shepherd that was born is 2015. She came to Das Hund Haus for a Board & Train and absolutely rocked it! After she went home though, she jumped the backyard fence and went to the front door. As she came around the house, she scared her owner’s Mother-In-Law... Even though she was naturally very friendly, her intimidating appearance was enough to force her owner to surrender her. Due to her age and declining health, she was given a home with our founder. Tess had never met a stranger, seeking attention from anyone and everyone she came across. She lived out the rest of her years lounging on the couch and keeping the younger dogs in line.

Tess was laid to rest in July of 2025 held by those who loved her most.
