Jax was a male Presa Canario that was born in 2022. He was surrendered to UST after a leg injury made him untrustworthy around the younger members of his family. After arriving, he also showed that he had a strong instinct to guard the things he felt were his (toys, food, space in the home...). More importantly, he was not afraid to use his teeth to do it! As time went on, we found some complicated medical needs that he ultimately succumbed to in September of 2024.
