Chandler

Cobain was a male Pit Bull Mix that was born in 2018. He was adopted out as a puppy to a gentleman in Maryland. At 8 years old, animal control seized him and returned him to his original rescue... He had been found chained up in a backyard and starving. Unfortunately, whatever happened between being adopted and being seized had caused Chandler to be wary and untrusting of strangers (rightly so!). The rescue in Maryland asked if Chandler could be one of our permanent resident dogs so that he could live the rest of his life with people who understood him. We immediately agreed.

Channy-boy was loved fiercely by our staff until he decided it was time to say good-bye.​ Chandler crossed over the Rainbow Bridge in May of 2026 while in the lap of his favorite staff member.
